We collect information you provide when creating an account, including your name, username, email address, and optional social media handles. When you connect Spotify or YouTube Music, we access your music listening data to provide music matching features.
We use your information to provide and improve our services, match you with other users based on music taste, and enable social features like groups and friend connections. We never sell your personal data to third parties.
When you connect Spotify or YouTube Music, we access your top tracks and liked videos to calculate music compatibility with other users. We store this data securely and only use it for matching purposes within KaraBuzz.
Your profile information (name, username, avatar, music taste) is visible to other KaraBuzz users. Your chat app handles (WhatsApp, Instagram, etc.) are only visible to accepted friends. We do not share your data with advertisers.
We use Supabase for secure data storage with row-level security policies. All connections are encrypted via HTTPS.
You can delete your account and all associated data at any time by contacting us at hello@karabuzz.com. You can disconnect Spotify or YouTube Music at any time from your profile settings.
